Treslyn Shipley is a Texas raised artist who has developed an interest in capturing joy through her work. She has been greatly influenced by her uncle William Alther, a landscape and nature artist, her undergraduate advisor Donnie Copeland, an abstract collage artist, as well as colleague and collaborator, Katie Simpson, a children's literature author and illustrator.
